McEnroe a Champion Again

Capping an incredible week, John McEnroe and Jonas Bjorkman won the SAP Open doubles title 7-6 (2), 4-6, 10-7 over Americans Paul Goldstein and Jim Thomas. McEnroe/Bjorkman took out the #2 and #4 seeds en route to the title. The victory is McEnroe's 78th doubles title to go along with his 77 singles titles.

Like Federer has done for singles, McEnroe has proven that the power game is not necesary to win in today's doubles game. And more importantly, much like Andre Agassi, McEnroe has proven you don't need to be a teenager to compete. Hopefully, we will be seeing much more of McEnroe this year.
