Seth MacFarlane's The Life of Larry

For all of you Family Guy fans out there...

In 1995, a 21 year old Seth MacFarlane created a student film titled The Life of Larry while studying at the Rhode Island School of Design. Anyone who has seen more than a couple Family Guy episodes can see that this short film provides the basis and framework for the show. From the pop culture and religious references to the use of the now famous cutaway scenes, all of the Family Guy essentials are well represented.

In fact, several scenes from The Life of Larry have made it directly into recent FG episodes completely intact: the Philadelphia/Big connection, the Jeopardy diarrhea scene, Captain Kirk on Star Trek, and the great God/Job bit.
