Andy's.Mojo.Found.

Cincinnati has been very good to Andy Roddick. After winning the 2006 W&S Cincinnati Masters by pummeling Juan Carlos Ferrero 6-3, 6-4 (Roddick's second title in Cincinnati), Roddick first kissed the ground. Then he jogged around stadium court and high fived the entire first row!

Prior to Cincinnati, Roddick had been title-less since October 2005 and had been hounded by the press for his lack of results in 2006. It indeed seemed like young Andy had lost his mojo. Just like those goofy commercials suggested...

Roddick seemed to put all of the negativity behind him this week and played unbelievable tennis. He served like a maniac, charged the net like a bull, and smacked backhands down the line with ease. And of course, there's that forehand.

Roddick's victory in Cincinnati moves him back into the top 10 just in time for the U.S. Open next week. With Roddick back in top form, it looks like Roger Federer might have something to worry about in New York.

Greg,

You are right. Jimbo definitely deserves some credit for getting Andy back on track. A renewed Roddick vs Federer final at the U.S. Open would be a dream match up!
