Missed An Episode? No Problem...

All of the major networks now have some form of free, ad-based broadcasting available on their web sites.

If you miss a show, or a glitch causes your Tivo to fail, you should now be in luck.

Be warned... the quality and breadth of content can vary quite a bit.

ABC

Hands down the best! High quality Flash video, slick interface, great content!

Fox On Demand

Very good service. HD quality video. Good selection of shows. Easy to use.

NBC Rewind

Decent quality and good selection. But no Office! Boo!

CBS innertube

CBS inexplicably linked their chariot to the horrible RealPlayer. I REFUSE to install this app so I can't comment. The rocket scientist at CBS who chose the universally despised RealPlayer should be fired! Hopefully, CBS will wise up and switch to the Flash format.

Yahoo TV Beta
http://tv.yahoo.com/
An ultra cool Web 2.0 app with some good content. Very easy to use.

Of course, if you are willing to pay for a missed program, there is always iTunes. iTunes has quite a good selection of shows, including The Office. Probably explains why NBC doesn't offer it for free!

If you don't want to pay... Shareaza is a sweet open source file sharing program that supports numerous networks including Gnutella 2 and BitTorrent. However, it is sloooow. After you download a DivX encoded avi you can watch it on your computer or burn it to DVD.
